Norwich City suffered another defeat away to relegation-threatened League One rivals Leyton Orient, meaning the Canaries' lead at the top of the table shortens (all images by Clive Rose/Getty Images).
Leyton Orient's Sean Thornton, on his return from injury, put the home side in the lead after three minutes, then secured three points for the O's after half an hour, heading home Charlie Daniels' free-kick.
Norwich midfielder Korey Smith got City back into the game after 20 minutes with a stunning shot from outside of the penalty area.
Stephen Elliott was included in the starting line-up for Norwich, who were missing skipper and top-scorer Grant Holt, who began a two match suspension.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert admitted after the game that his side "never got going" and despite seeing a number of second-half chances go begging, added "there's no need to panic".
Chris Martin and Anthony McNamee both hit the post for Norwich in the second half, while Stephen Hughes was denied an equaliser by Orient keeper Jamie Jones.
Orient have yet to lose a game under new manager Russell Slade and their first win in six matches has lifted them out of the League One relegation zone.
