Norwich City extend striker Cody McDonald's contract
McDonald is currently out with a thigh injury
Norwich City striker Cody McDonald has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2012.
The 23-year-old's current deal was due to expire at the end of this season.
McDonald joined the Canaries from non-league side Dartford in February 2009 and scored on his City debut during the 2-0 win over Cardiff the same year.
Because of the success of Grant Holt and Chris Martin, McDonald has had limited opportunities this season but has found the net on four occasions.
