Jamie Cureton scored twice on Wednesday as Norwich City reserves beat their Northampton counterparts 3-1.
Canaries manager Paul Lambert watched the game at Sixfields alongside reserve team manager Ian Crook.
After going a goal down Luke Daley equalised for the Canaries before Cureton added his brace.
Midfielder Matt Gill completed his first 90 minutes since returning from injury and Owain Tudur Jones appeared for the first time since August.
