Norwich City defender Dejan Stefanovic is in negotiations to leave the club midway through a two-year contract.
The 34-year-old Serbian centre-back has not played since suffering knee ligament damage last November.
He is one of the highest earners at the club and the Canaries are looking to reduce their wage bill following their relegation to League One.
The ex-Portsmouth defender is said to be pursuing opportunities to return to the south of England.
Stefanovic was absent from Norwich City's pre-season squad photo, prompting speculation about his future.
He would be the second player to leave the club in as many days after midfielder Matt Pattison completed his transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns in his native South Africa.
