Doncaster 'sorry' for relegation

Neil Doncaster
Doncaster has just taken up a role with the Scottish Premier League

Former Norwich City chief executive Neil Doncaster admits the club's relegation to the third tier is partially down to him.

The 39-year-old left the Canaries following the club's relegation from the Championship to League One.

The new Scottish Premier League chief executive told BBC Sport: "The club don't deserve to be in that league.

"It happened on my watch. It was important to realise that and step down and take some responsibility for it."
