Cody McDonald was working as a builder before joining Norwich

Cody McDonald marked his first game for Norwich City's reserve team by scoring in the 3-0 win over Great Yarmouth.

McDonald, 22, who joined the Canaries from non-league Dartford on the final day of the transfer window, has just recovered from injury.

Matt Pattison and David Carney also scored for the Canaries in the Carrow Road friendly.

Several other first team players appeared in a bid to improve their match fitness.
