Lupoli (right) played against Norwich during his loan spell at Derby
Former Arsenal striker Arturo Lupoli has joined Norwich on a season-long loan from Fiorentina.
The 21-year-old, who had a loan spell at Derby during his time with the Gunners, joined Fiorentina last summer but has yet to make his debut for them.
He was loaned to Serie B side Treviso last season and is relishing his return to English football.
"I'm very happy to be here and hope to contribute to a great season for Norwich City," he said.
"I know a lot about the club - I was with Arsenal when they and my team-mate David Bentley were in the Premier League and I have followed their progress."
Canaries manager Glenn Roeder said he was hoping to compliment the 21-year-old Italian's skills with another striker.
"He's an extremely hard working player, who works off the shoulder, makes runs in behind, now we need to find a more physical striker for him and [Jamie] Cureton," Roeder told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"Cureton is at his best when he's got a bigger striker alongside him."
Lupoli began his career in the Arsenal youth setup and spent a season at Derby before moving back to his home nation in 2007, and Roeder says he will fit right in the Championship.
He said: "I've done my homework on him and spoken to a few people at Arsenal who I trust.
"They said that at Championship level, like he proved at Derby, if you make him chances he'll take them."
