Webster played two games on loan at Hereford in November

Northampton Town have signed Doncaster Rovers defender Byron Webster on loan for one month.

The 23-year-old centre-back has made seven appearances in the Championship this season, including just one start.

Cobblers manager Gary Johnson told BBC Radio Northampton: "Doncaster need him playing games and he'll be involved in some way on Saturday.

"He's a first-ball winner, he's a strong lad and he's a talker. He'll be involved in some way on Saturday."

Webster started his career at York before a spell with FK SIAD Most in the Czech Republic.

Johnson added: "I class it as clubs in your bags and there a couple of clubs we haven't got."
