Stop being weak-minded - Northampton defender Rodgers

Northampton Town defender Paul Rodgers has urged the team not to be "weak-minded" on their League Two travels.

The Cobblers have only won twice in 13 games away from home, in contrast to their form at Sixfields where they have been beaten just twice in 14 matches.

"Really, it's just a case of digging in and staying strong," Rodgers told BBC Radio Northampton.

"It's just like away from home we seem to falter a bit - we seem to get a bit weak-minded."

He added: "If we can stay strong like we have in the past couple of weeks we should get a result away at Port Vale (on Saturday)."
