Northampton boss Ian Sampson ready for 'emotional' day
Sampson has been at Northampton as player and coach for 16 years
Northampton Town cannot let the emotions of Saturday's crucial match at Bradford affect their concentration, according to manager Ian Sampson.
City are marking the 25th anniversary of the Valley Parade fire, in which 56 people lost their lives. Sampson said the Cobblers will respect the occasion.
"It'll be an emotional day, certainly for the Bradford fans," Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton.
"We'll show all the respect that we need and then concentrate on us."

"Once they've done the memorial and the minute's silence we've got to really focus on our jobs," added Sampson.
"I think I probably played that day in '85. It was sad news to hear about it. It was a shocking day for everyone."
Northampton are currently just outside the League Two play offs and the match at Bradford is live on BBC Radio Northampton.
