Northampton midfielder Kevin Thornton is certain that his team-mates have the ability to play at a higher level.
Thornton, 23, joined from Nuneaton in January and made his full debut in their 4-0 win against Accrington.
"If we keep playing like we are doing, some here could easily play higher," he told BBC Radio Northamptonshire.
"I'm glad for the lads with another win. If we get the ball down and play like we did, we can pass teams [off the park] in this league."
Thornton has signed a contract extension with the Cobblers until the end of the season.

"I was happy even with a month-to-month deal, I just wanted to do well for myself and Northampton and the fans," he added.
"I just wanted a fresh start. Hopefully we can do well and get promoted."
