Northampton Town slipped to a 2-1 defeat in their latest pre-season friendly at Corby Town.
Much-travelled striker Jason Lee put the Blue Square North outfit ahead on 13 minutes, before a Chris Willmott own-goal doubled their lead.
Trialist Billy McKay pulled one back for the Cobblers in the second half, but Corby held on to win.
Northampton entertain Championship side Coventry City in the Jackson Grundy Cup at Sixfields on Tuesday (1945 BST).
