Gorman is in the frame to become Northampton's new boss |
Northampton have interviewed former Wycombe boss John Gorman for the managerial vacancy at Sixfields, reports BBC Radio Northampton. He was given compassionate leave in April after his wife died and he parted company with Wanderers last week.
Gorman was spotted at Sixfields on Thursday afternoon.
Meanwhile, QPR manager Ian Holloway's chances of landing the job appear to be fading - Holloway has two years left on his deal but is on gardening leave.
Former Northampton boss Colin Calderwood joined Nottingham Forest earlier this week.
Gorman and director of football John Deehan now look the favourites to be handed the Cobblers job.
