Newcastle United have re-signed Danish striker Peter Lovenkrands on a three-year contract.
The 29-year-old was a free agent after spending the second half of last season at St James' Park, scoring three times in 12 appearances.
He had joined the Magpies on a free transfer in January after being released by German side Schalke.
Lovenkrands started his career in his homeland with AB Copenhagan before spending six years with Rangers.
He has won 11 caps for Denmark.
