Newcastle defender Celestine Babayaro is likely to be sidelined with a groin injury until mid-December. The 28-year-old picked up the knock in last week's Carling Cup tie at Watford and consequently missed last weekend's league game against Manchester City.
"We're going to have to do without him for the next two or three weeks," said Magpies boss Glenn Roeder.
"He's done very well for me and been a consistent performer when he's played,
so this is unfortunate for us."
