 Babayaro clashed with Kuyt at Anfield |
Newcastle's Celestine Babayaro has admitted to a Football Association charge of violent conduct after a clash with Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt. Babayaro, 28, appeared to catch Kuyt with his arm during the Magpies' 2-0 defeat at Anfield on Wednesday and he will now serve a three-match ban.
According to the new Fast Track procedure for such cases, Babayaro was offered a three-match ban and accepted.
The incident was not seen by match officials but was caught on video.
