Motherwell manager Craig Brown thinks refereeing decisions went against his side as they lost 3-2 to Hibernian.
Brown believes the goal that put Hibs 2-1 ahead should not have been allowed and that his own side should have had more than the one penalty given.
"I have seen the pictures of it and there were two reasons why it should not have been allowed," he said.
"The penalty that was least like a penalty was the one we got. We had a better claim before and after that."
Goalkeeper Darren Randolph failed to connect with Derek Riordan's cross as he was challenged by Sol Bamba in the lead up to Hibs' second goal.
And Motherwell players thought that goalscorer Paul Hanlon then bundled the ball over the line.
Referee Craig Thomson did give the home side a penalty when Colin Nish tugged the shirt of substitute Nick Blackman, with Jamie Murphy's spot kick reducing the deficit at 3-2.
But Brown said: "The clear one was when John Sutton was barged off the ball. I saw one yesterday when referee Collum gave one correctly for Kilmarnock against Rangers for the same thing.
"I don't want to be a moaner. I want to give the referee the respect he is due.
"He is a very good referee, but I have got to be honest and say that I felt the decisions were not kind to us today. I think that is putting it euphemistically."
Brown, though, blamed his own side for allowing Hibs back into a game that Motherwell dominated for the first 45 minutes.
"The honest truth is we should have been well ahead at half time and, in the second half, we did not do well enough to stay in the game and we fault ourselves for that," he said.
"We were totally dominant at the time they scored their equaliser just before half-time, but we fault ourselves in that we did not maintain the dominance we had in the first half and, as a result of that, we paid the penalty."
Brown's side next travel to face Odense in the final qualifying round of the Europa League on Thursday, a tie that could decide whether the manager is given more funding for new players.
However, he said: "The priority for Motherwell this season is the Scottish Premier League. The Europa Cup is a bonus and we will look on it as a bonus.
"We are just pleased and grateful that we got two strikers in who were on the bench today."
