Masterton helped Clyde survive the relegation play-offs

Morton have secured the signature of midfielder Stevie Masterton from First Division rivals Clyde.

The 23-year-old will sign a two-year contract at the end of May, the Morton website has announced.

Morton manager David Irons said: "He is a central midfielder and technically as good as anyone I have seen. He is a very, very good deadball kicker."

Masterton was a Rangers youth player before moving to Kilmarnock and then on to Broadwood in 2005.
