Joe Anyon made 118 appearances in his six years with Port Vale

Morecambe have signed goalkeeper Joe Anyon on an emergency loan from League Two rivals Lincoln City.

First-choice keeper Barry Roche picked up a thigh injury in Saturday's 2-1 win over Southend United which will rule him out against Bury on Tuesday night.

And, now ex-Port Vale keeper Anyon's move from Sincil Bank has gone through, he looks set to make an instant debut against the in-form Shakers.

Anyon, 24, joined Lincoln this summer following his release by Vale.
