Morecambe midfielder Fraser McLachlan has agreed a new one-year deal with the League Two club.
The 25-year-old missed the majority of last season after suffering a broken leg in the second game of the season at Preston North End in the Carling Cup.
Manager Sammy McIlroy said: "He had a terrible year and deserves another chance to show us all what he can do.
"He worked very hard to get back to full fitness. It was great to see him run out at MK Dons on the final day."
He added: "He is a player that will never let you down and we hope to see a lot more of him next season.''
