MK Dons set to play Yeovil Town without substitutes

Karl Robinson will consider playing himself against Yeovil

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has said he is facing going into Tuesday's game with Yeovil without any substitutes.

Only 12 first team players trained on Monday after a sickness bug swept the camp, while Gary MacKenzie and Angelo Balanta are both suspended.

Robinson, who also has striker Jabo Ibehre out with a knee injury, told BBC Three Counties Radio: "At this moment in time I have not got a subs bench.

"I will have to play with 11 players and see where we go from there."

Robinson said the first sign of the bug was when Jermaine Easter fell ill during Saturday's match at Tranmere.

He said it was possible some of the players would recover in time to feature.

"If some of them recover overnight they might be just about right to get on the bench," he said.

"It's where the boys who are suspended need to take more responsibility.

"When you do have injury problems, or illnesses, that's when [the suspensions] do play a big part in what you're doing."
