Wilbraham signs new Dons contract

Milton Keynes Dons

MK Dons' striker Aaron Wilbraham has agreed a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2011.

Wilbraham, 29, joined the Dons from Hull in the summer of 2005 and his deal at Stadium MK was due to run out at the end of the season.

"I've never enjoyed playing for a club as much as this one," Wilbraham told the club's official website.

"It's a good club to be with. It's going in the right direction and I'm grateful to sign for two more years."

Wilbraham has scored 29 goals in 128 appearances for The Dons and chairman Pete Winkleman is thrilled to have extended the striker's stay.

"We're delighted to have secured Aaron's services. As one of our longest-serving players, he has become a key figure both on and off the pitch.

"We're confident he will be the first of several to commit their futures to Milton Keynes in the coming weeks."
