Chadwick has had a positive effect on results since moving to MK Dons

Milton Keynes Dons loanee Luke Chadwick has been ruled out of action for a number of weeks with a knee injury, the club confirmed on Sunday.

Chadwick, 27, picked up the injury in training on Thursday and duly missed the 3-1 win at Hartlepool on Saturday.

"He's gone back to Norwich to start his rehab but it's too early to put a timescale on how long he will be out," said Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo.

Chadwick's three-month loan spell is due to expire at the end of December.

Since joining the Buckinghamshire club from Norwich, the Dons have won six league games with the former Manchester United man scoring three goals in seven games.
