MK Dons striker Sam Baldock has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Stadium MK until June 2010.
The deal for the 19-year-old, who has been with the club since he was 14, also has an option for a further year.
Baldock has scored two goals in six starts this season under new manager Roberto di Matteo.
Di Matteo told the club's official website: "Sam is an exciting young player with a bright future. We believe and have trust in his ability."
Baldock said: "I'm delighted to have extended my contract with the club, I've been here since I was 14 years old and hope I can be here for many years to come.
"We've got some highly experienced players and staff that I have been lucky enough to work with and, with their help, I want to keep improving as a player.
Sam's got a great attitude, he wants to learn and if he keeps developing he'll be a very important player for this club
