Gerba made his debut for Canada in July 2005 and has nine goals

Milton Keynes Dons have signed Canada international Ali Gerba on a one-year deal, subject to a work permit.

The 26-year-old forward has won 18 caps for Canada, scoring nine goals, and played in two CONCACAF Gold Cups.

He has previously played for IFK Gothenburg, and was released by German club FC Ingolstadt in June.

Gerba becomes the Dons' fourth close-season signing, following the previous captures of Peter Leven, Florian Sturm and Shaun Cummings.
