Milton Keynes Dons have confirmed the signing of Chelsea defender Shaun Cummings on loan.
The 19-year-old joins on an initial one-month deal with a view to extending it further into the season.
He joins the Dons having played 45 minutes of Wednesday's friendly win over Championship side Watford.
The versatile youngster played 18 times for Chelsea's reserves last season, more than any other Stamford Bridge player, scoring once.
Cummings started out as a striker, but he has also played in wide midfield and full-back.
He has been with the Champions League finalists since the age of 12, having worked his way through the club's youth system.
