Donachie was an assistant at Man City, Everton and Oldham |
Millwall boss Willie Donachie is set to sign a new two-year contract to stay in charge at the New Den until June 2009. Donachie has been rewarded for transforming the fortunes of the Lions, who have gone from being relegation candidates to play-off contenders.
Chairman Stewart Till told Millwall's official website: "This achievement speaks for itself.
"He has brought stability to the club and shown great skill in the way he manages the players."
Former Manchester City, Everton and Oldham number-two Donachie took charge in September when Millwall had taken just five points from their first ten games.
