Millwall assistant boss Ray Wilkins was delighted with his side's performance despite going out of the Uefa Cup with a 4-2 aggregate loss to Ferencvaros. "I thought, overall, that the performance was superb," said Wilkins.
"In the second half we showed immense spirit and played some good football and if we can take that form into the Championship we will be very pleased.
"It won't be difficult for us to lift the players because they have really enjoyed their experience in Europe."
He added: "It was just a shame to give those goals away as we did, because we are normally extremely solid defensively.
"Apart from the goals, I thought some of our possession was very good in the first half, when I thought we matched Ferencvaros at times."
