Middlesbrough have signed out-of-favour Stoke City striker Dave Kitson on a two-month loan.
He is the third Boro loan signing since the arrival of new boss Gordon Strachan following fellow striker Marcus Bent and midfielder Isaiah Osbourne.
Kitson, 29, has netted just two goals in 25 Premier League games for the Potters since his £5.5m move from Reading in the summer of 2008.
He could make his bow in Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest.
Strachan told the club's official website: "I'm delighted Dave is coming in to bolster the squad's numbers and give us more options.
"I've been a fan of Dave's for a few years now. He is a good striker and another player for us to call on."
Boro have not scored a goal since Strachan took charge, having lost both their first two games under him 1-0.
