Viduka's future could be in the stars |
Australian striker Mark Viduka has yet to decide whether to commit his future to Middlesbrough. Boro boss Gareth Southgate is keen to hold on to the 31-year-old, who is out of contract.
Newcastle and Portsmouth have been linked to Viduka, who said: "I'm a Libran and we like to procrastinate.
"We'll see what happens in the next few days, it's one of the hardest decisions I've had to make and I haven't come down on one side or the other."
Viduka, who joined Boro from Leeds for 4.5m in July 2004, scored 19 goals this season and stated that this will be the last big contract he negotiates.
He also insisted that talks with Boro have been amicable but questioned whether he would be offered a deal to his satisfaction.

Viduka added: "Negotiations have been very good but whether we come to an agreement remains to be seen.
"I don't think the club want to make too much of a commitment, so both sides need to get it right.
"It will be my last real contract, so it has to be the right one. I have two choices, to stay or do something new.
"The situation has to be right for myself and the club."
Any discussions over Viduka's future will also have to take his international career into consideration.
Australia are keen to extend his career beyond the Asian Cup in July and interim coach Graham Arnold has hinted he will compromise on call-ups to reduce Viduka's travelling.
