Stags manager David Holdsworth signed Mills on a free transfer

Mansfield Town manager David Holdsworth has made midfielder Gary Mills available for loan.

The 28-year-old, who signed a two-year contract from Stevenage in the summer, has been out of the first team since late October.

Holdsworth told the club's website: "First team chances have been limited for Gary recently and I feel a loan deal would be good for both parties.

"Gary has trained hard even though he has been out of the team."

Mills, who won the FA Trophy with Stevenage last season, was named as Mansfield's team captain when he signed in the summer.
