McEwan's team are two points above the relegation zone

Mansfield Town manager Billy McEwan says players and fans must be united to turn their current form around.

The Stags are 19th in the Blue Square Premier table and just two points off the relegation zone.

McEwan told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's a very difficult period for the club at the minute but they're trying very hard to swing things around.

"They need everybody behind them, their team-mates and supporters - it's a test but I'm ready."

The Stags face promoting-chasing Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night.
