McEwan's team have won only one of their last six league games

Mansfield Town manager Billy McEwan knows away form will be crucial as his side look to pick up their season.

Stags travel to Forest Green Rovers this Saturday having not won an away match since September.

"We have to start to pick points up away from home. Our away form hasn't been the best this season," he told the club's website.

"I know their players and manager and it won't be an easy game - but no games are in this league."

McEwan added: "This Saturday's match is one which we cannot afford to drop points. We have two tough away games coming up.

"We got a good win last week at home to Salisbury City but we can't rest on our laurels."
