Mansfield Town boss Billy McEwan believes his side deserved to earn a FA Cup replay after Saturday's 0-0 draw at Blue Square Premier rivals York.

Stags manager Billy McEwan told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I thought we showed a lot of character and resilience, especially in the second half.

"We created lots of openings against a good side."

The fourth qualifying round replay will take place on Tuesday, 28 October at Field Mill with a 1945 GMT kick-off.

The winners of the replay will be away to Chesterfield in the first round proper.
