Mansfield Town manager Billy McEwan says his experienced players will be vital to his team's chances this year.
The Stags have 37-year-old Jason Lee as well as to 33-year-olds in Mark Stallard and the captain Adie Moses.
McEwan told BBC Radio Nottingham: "They're going to be vital for us because they've been there before and got the t-shirt so to speak.
"They are good leaders and their experience is invaluable to players like Jon D'Laryea and Nathan Arnold."
Meanwhile, McEwan highlighted the importance of the club's supporters as the team begin life in non-league football.
"Up to now they've been absolutely outstanding. They've given us a lot of noise and atmosphere.
"I"m sure that gives the players an extra yard."
