New Mansfield Town signing Alan O'Hare said he is hoping to bring experience to the young side at Field Mill.

The 26-year-old was at Chesterfield for six years before being released this summer and signed by the Stags.

"The gulf between the young lads and the experienced players is quite significant," the defender told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"Hopefully I can learn from the older lads and pass on some experience to the younger ones coming up."
