Mansfield Town are set to sign defender Alan O'Hare and defensive midfielder Gavin Hurren after successful trials.

O'Hare, 25, had been at Chesterfield for the past six years before being released this summer when he started training with the Stags.

Hurren, 22, is a former Nottingham Forest youth team player and was most recently at Kidderminster Harriers.

Stags manager Billy McEwan has also offered contracts to four others and is awaiting replies.
