Macclesfield Town have signed defender Stephen Reed from Weymouth on a one- year contract.
The 23-year-old former Yeovil man had loan spells with Torquay and Aldershot before playing two full seasons for Weymouth in the Blue Square Premier.
Reed made 32 appearances for the Dorset club including captaining the side.
The left-back becomes the Silkmen's second summer signing after Ben Wright's transfer from League Two side Lincoln City on Tuesday.
