Corby Town have satisfied police that their facilities can stage the FA Cup tie with Luton Town in November.
The Hatters had initially expressed "concerns about the suitability" of the Rockingham Triangle to hold the clash.
But Corby received confirmation from the Safety Advisory Group that they can host the tie after cutting the ground's capacity from 3,000 to 2,000.
Ticket prices have been raised in order to pay additional charges for extra stewards, segregation and CCTV.
These arrangements were deemed necessary in order for Corby to hold the tie on Saturday, 6 November.
There will also be no standing at the rear of the Main Stand of the ground.
Blue Square Bet Premier side Luton defeated St Albans 4-0 in the fourth qualifying round while the Steelmen overcame Salisbury 3-0.
Corby, who are fifth in the Blue Square Bet North, last appeared in the first round of the FA Cup 43 years ago when they were beaten by Boston United.
