Nicholls can play in the Hatters' next three games and on the final day
Luton captain Kevin Nicholls has been banned for five matches after being found guilty of improper conduct by the Football Association.
The charges related to incidents that took place following the Hatters' 3-3 draw with Bradford City in January.
Nicholls' ban will begin on 7 April, meaning he will be available for the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Manager Mick Harford was fined £1,000 for his conduct and comments he made about and to referee Trevor Kettle.
The club were also fined £2,000 and warned about their future conduct after being charged with failure to control their players, while Nicholls was also fined £1,000.
It a statement on the Luton website, the club said it would be considering its options in relation to appealing against the decisions.
