Luton's Davis back after stroke
Luton defender Sol Davis
Davis marked his return with an own goal
Luton defender Sol Davis made a return to action for the first time since suffering a stroke.

Davis played for 67 minutes and marked his return by scoring an own goal in the 1-1 draw with Northampton reserves.

The 27-year-old suffered a stroke on the Luton team bus en route to the game at Ipswich on 28 October.

Hatters boss Mike Newell told Luton's website: "At the moment his specialist is telling him to carry on and do whatever he wants to do."

It was initially thought Davis could take up to six months to fully recover.

He came through his first full training session earlier this week, making him available for Wednesday's reserve outing.
