Mark Proctor says he "can't wait to get started" after being appointed manager of First Division side Livingston. The former Darlington assistant manager leaves his coaching role at Hibernian to take over at Almondvale.
Proctor, 46, was brought to Hibs last summer by former boss Tony Mowbray, who moved on to West Brom in October.
The new Livingston boss told the club website: "It is no secret that I wanted to manage a club myself, after building a great deal of coaching experience."
David Bowman, who had been caretaker manager since the sacking of John Robertson in April, left Livingston last week.

Proctor added: "I like the set-up at Livingston, we have some good players although we shall be strengthening again this summer.
"I'm delighted that the club was impressed by my ideas for the team and the coaching set-up, and I just can't wait to get started in the job."
Livingston chairman Pearse Flynn said: "We are absolutely delighted to welcome Mark to Livingston.
"He knows the challenge he faces and is well-prepared for the role.

"We looked extensively at the market, and opted for Mark as we believe he has winning mentality and an ability to bring together both young and experienced players.
"We want a team that can win Division One and get Livi back into the SPL and I'm confident Mark will develop a highly-competitive squad."
Robertson was sacked as Livingston boss with Livingston lying in sixth place in the league having failed to return to the SPL at the first attempt.
He had been appointed at Almondvale in February 2006, replacing Paul Lambert.
Former Celtic defender Dariusz Wdowczyk and Clyde player-boss Joe Miller were in contention for the Livi vacancy as the West Lothian club look to regain their Scottish Premier League status.
Former Motherwell and Sydney manager Terry Butcher and former Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle boss Bobby Williamson had also been on the wanted list.
But Butcher has since become manager of Brentford, while Williamson has taken over at Chester City.
