Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek says he is not desperate to leave Anfield and reports claiming he has fallen out with boss Rafael Benitez are false.
Dudek was quoted on Friday as saying "I don't want to play for this club anymore, my time here is at an end."
But he says he would never disrespect Benitez and has had clear-the-air talks with the Reds' manager.
"I was unhappy to read such stories about me. I've a great deal of respect for Rafa and learned a lot from him."
He added: "Like any other footballer I want to play regularly.
"I have become frustrated at my current situation, but I am a professional and will continue to work as hard as I can in training and do my best for Liverpool.
"It's crazy when people claim I don't want to play for Liverpool any more.
"This is a great club with fantastic supporters, so why would I not want to be involved."
Last season Dudek helped Liverpool win the Champions League with his memorable performance in the penalty shoot-out win over AC Milan.
But now he is third choice behind Jose Reina and Scott Carson.
