Anyon has made four appearances for Morecambe during his month's loan

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says keeper Joe Anyon must fight to regain his place from Elliott Parish when his loan spell at Morecambe ends.

Anyon joined City's League Two rivals after losing his place to Sunderland loanee Trevor Carson, who was in turn replaced by the Aston Villa youngster.

Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "You need competition for places.

"Elliott's put in two good performances and done what he had to, and while he's doing well he'll be playing."

Anyon has made four appearances during his month's loan at Morecambe, which comes to an end after their League Two match at Rotherham on Saturday.

Parish, 19, has conceded eight goals in his two games for the Imps, including their 6-0 defeat by Rotherham on his debut.
