Lincoln skipper Delroy Facey thriving on responsibility
Facey has led Lincoln to six wins in 11 matches since becoming captain
Striker Delroy Facey says he is thriving on the responsibility of being Lincoln City captain.
Facey, 30, has been instrumental in City's climb up League Two after being handed the skipper's armband by manager Steve Tilson.
Facey told BBC Lincolnshire: "If there's a problem the manager comes to me and we talk it over with the lads."
The Imps have won six of their 11 matches since Facey's first game as captain, a 2-1 defeat by Wycombe.
The Grenada international, 30, is also prepared to put club before country and may miss their two matches against St. Kitts and Nevis on 26 March and 1 April.
"Whether or not I'll be included I don't know," he said, "but at the moment I'm not concentrating on Grenada.
"We've got games coming thick and fast with Lincoln City and at the moment that's my priority."
