Lincoln City boss Tilson keen on keeping Ashley Grimes

Ashley Grimes
Grimes' loan spell runs until 11 January

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says he would like to further extend striker Ashley Grimes' loan from Millwall - and perhaps make the move permanent.

Grimes, 24, who will be a free agent in the summer, has scored three goals for the Imps.

Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "He wants to keep his options open but he wants to stay to the end of the season and if Millwall are happy, then that's a goer.

"There's also a possibility that we could get him on a permanent deal."

Grimes admitted that he would like to extend his stay at Sincil Bank.

He said:"I feel as though I'm a part of this team and I want to help to get them up the table so I'd like to stay for the remainder of the season if possible."
