Lincoln boss Sutton may consider signing loan striker
Chris Sutton's Lincoln City finished 20th in League Two last season
Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton has refused to rule out bringing in a main striker on loan next season.
The Imps' leading scorer last season was on-loan Leeds striker Davide Somma, with nine goals in 14 appearances.
Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "We want to get a proven striker with a good pedigree but everyone wants a good striker and it's proving difficult.
"We might have to utilise the loan market again but we are trying to find someone on a permanent basis."
Since the end of the season, Lincoln have signed goalkeeper Joe Anyon, midfielder Josh O'Keefe and winger Mustapha Carayol, but Sutton has yet to add a striker to the ranks at Sincil Bank.
