Lincoln boss Sutton hopeful of Joe Anderson's return
Joe Anderson joined Lincoln City from Premier League side Fulham
Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton says full-back Joe Anderson could return to the side against Bury on Saturday to help ease a defensive injury crisis.
Anderson, 20, missed the Imps' defeat at Shrewsbury with a hamstring problem.
Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "Joe's not up to full speed yet but hopefully he'll be available, he's certainly someone we've missed."
Defenders Paul Green, Adam Watts, Moses Swaibu and Ian Pearce are all out for the rest of the season through injury.
Influential midfielder Chris Herd will also miss Lincoln's remaining matches with knee ligament damage.
Anderson has made 21 appearances for the Imps since joining from Premier League side Fulham at the start of January.
