Lincoln City defender Paul Green pleased with return
Green has made 85 League Two appearances for Lincoln City
Lincoln City defender Paul Green says he is pleased to be back in the side after an eight-month lay-off.
Green, 22, featured in the Imps' league win over Chesterfield and the FA Cup defeat by Bolton after having surgery on a groin problem in the summer.
He told BBC Lincolnshire: "It's been hard watching the boys play because I wanted to be out there with them.
"In the last 20 minutes of my first game back I felt tired but the more I play, the fitter I'll get."
Green's return to the Lincoln side has seen manager Chris Sutton push Cian Hughton, who had been playing at full-back, into a more advanced position on the right side of midfield.
He said: "It's gone really well, I think we've shown in the two games that we work quite well together and have a good understanding."
