Lincoln City have released striker Rene Howe a month early from his loan spell from Peterborough United.
Howe, 23, scored five goals for the Imps but has struggled with injury.
Manager Chris Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "Rene's worked hard at times but we had to make a decision as there's only a month of his loan left.
"He's had a recurring hamstring problem and we've now got Delroy Facey available, and Jamie Clarke and Chris Fagan did well on Saturday."
